Welcome to Lighthouse Music for Kids — I’m Lisa Brockwell, a former primary school teacher, and it’s such a joy to connect with you here.

Through music, storytelling, and creative resources, I support children, teachers, and families in celebrating who we are and what life is really about. At Lighthouse Music for Kids, you’ll find songs and school performances that nurture kindness, respect, compassion, humility, truth, forgiveness, courage, acceptance, joy, and sustainability — life skills woven into music and stories children remember and carry with them.

 

Our school incursions in Sydney, Newcastle, and the Central Coast and our classroom resources for preschool and primary years focus on emotional wellbeing, environmental awareness, and personal development. Whether it’s a live show, a song video, or a downloadable poster, everything here is created to inspire confidence, empathy, and resilience — helping every child grow with an open heart and mind.

🌊 Why Lighthouse Music for Kids?

I’ve always loved watching the light of a lighthouse swing around. It’s a beacon of comfort for those at sea, keeping them safe and guiding them through the unexpected. For me, the lighthouse is a symbol of what music can do for children.

​

When students face challenges, the songs and stories become like a guiding light — offering comfort, clarity, and a sense of direction. The life skills woven into each song — from kindness and respect to courage, forgiveness, and sustainability — stay with children long after the music stops.

That is the power of this music: it uplifts, heals, and helps children discover who they are, while giving them the tools to grow with confidence, resilience, and compassion.

🎨 Visual Learning with Therese’s Illustrations

Teachers, parents, and preschool directors often tell me how much they love the way my daughter, Therese, captures the essence of our songs and stories through her illustrations. Her artwork adds another dimension to our resources — especially for children who learn best through visual and creative styles.

​

Her playful monocle characters invite students to look at situations from a new perspective. With humour and lightness, they encourage children to pause and ask: “What can I learn from this? How can I bring my best self to this moment?”These illustrations make the resources more engaging, memorable, and accessible — turning each poster, book, and activity into a practical classroom tool for wellbeing and personal growth.
